Sirloin, which is also referred to as striploin or porterhouse, comes from behind the rib section of the hindquarter. Sirloin is lean and well flavoured, with a firm, fine texture and light marbling. A versatile cut which is perfectly suited for grilling and barbecuing, as well as salads and roasts.
